Kathi
Foremost, I wish thank John Waite for the artist that he is. It is truly
rare that an artist is committed to their music. JW has done that and
more. I was fortunate enough to see performances in the US, Europe (I think) and
Asia (the Temple Garden photo shoot) from the Babys to present day, from 15,000+ seats to a mere
30 or 40. In every case JW was the consummate professional. Never once was
I disappointed by a performance. Never once was JW distracted from giving
his best. John weaves his experiences into word and song. Anyone who has
spent any time in the UK or in NYC can relate to the pictures painted within
word. Anyone who has lived can parallel themselves to his prose. John
writes of the human condition.
It has been a rare pleasure developing this site. It is not often you are
able to blend your profession with a personal love. The development of
johnwaite.com has been that and more, but not without help......
Some VERY special thanks...
To John:
Thank you for all your artistry throughout the many years and for
your continued commitment to your craft. Thank you for taking the time to
see the power of the internet to bring you and your fans closer together :)
Thank you for allowing me to be a part of this :)
To JR:
You have my undying gratitude for all your technical help, but more
importantly for your ever present guidance in grounding me when I was
about to spin out of control. You are my dear friend, always.
To Chris Arnstein/TAO:
Thank you for your support of johnwaite.com. This
has meant alot to all those involved!
To the johnwaite.com staff:
Thank you for all your time and effort to make
this project come to be all it can be and will continue to be. I was and
still am overwhelmed with all the individuals willing to assist in this
project.
Individually:
Amy:
This incarnation of the ever evolving johnwaite.com and the jwwc
would not exist today without you. I can never express how heart felt my
thanks are. You have taken my imagery and translated it, time and time
again, into the web. I love you dearly. (Special thanks to Tony and Summer
for their patience)
Brent:
How sweet the heart can be when it works from truly unselfish
motives. How often we speak of such inner truths and never see them in
action. What a pleasure it has been to see your works in action. I know
there is a greater being watching and caring for us. Thank you for
believing and being of one-mindedness.
Pär:
Your participation in the jwwc has brought to it the true
international reach that we always hoped to attain :) You have, by far,
been a true gentleman. Your discography will surely be enjoyed by many JW
fans throughout the world.
Adri, David, and EWAC:
Thank you for sharing the vision. And we thought
we knew everything about JW!!!!! "Life Story" brings many fans more
closely in touch with John's roots.
Kevin:
In John Waite's words - "To No Brakes in 1999!". Thank you.
Scott:
Yes, there are more JW fans out there!!!! (and not in cat suits).
We miss you! (Chant MOS MOS MOS!!!).
Cindy:
So many times I kept wondering just how all the lyrics would ever
get done, then, out of the blue, you completed them!!!! You are a wonder.
Thank you for being there form the beginning and believing in this
project :)
Kristine:
Oh MY!!!!! Is there any DP left?? You have been a constant
source of support and assistance. Thank you.
Denise:
Thank you for all the encouragement!! It has meant so very much
to everyone!
Sue:
Thank you for making me laugh and allowing me to "let it all out". I
am VERY glad we hooked up and have been "buddies".
Mommi:
I know, I know, you thought teaching me grammar was over :) :) Thank
you so much for your help and for being the perfect Mom! :)
To the MANY employees and associates of LIHQ and Glass Castle Web Design
who assisted in and supported this effort. (yes, Anna, a Russian
translation may just be in the future).
Lastly, but most certainly not least, to dear EB:
Thank you :) So often we
looked at each other and wondered if it would all come together. How
thankful I am that you and I saw the artistry in JW and the potential
impact of the jwwc! THANK YOU! for keeping the vision (maybe with some
help), making it happen and continuing to propel us all toward this final
and ever-changing product called johnwaite.com.
