In our vision of what johnwaite.com should be, we need look no further than the man and his music. If one were to click through this website, this thought would become apparently clear to the surfer.
johnwaite.com is much more than webpages & HTML. It's about a man whose career spans better than three decades of music. It's about people who believe in what John has accomplished, both in a recording studio and out on the road. In 1998, in an industry that is plagued by so many trendy cliches, listeners have to search extensivly to find "good music". This site is for all who have ever listened to a recording of John's and have realized they were listening to an artist who creates music which has distinctive meaning and impact.
The Man and His Music
Perhaps it is his music that best defines the man. One does not have to listen very long or hard to hear that John is his music. From the first days of The Babys in the 1970's, to being a solo artist in the early 1980's, to fronting the rock band Bad English in the late 1980's, John has come full circle in 1998, carving a timeless niche in rock and roll.
The one factor that has always remained a constant with John and his music is his vision of maintaining his artistic integrity. His music comes from his soul and never bows to commercialism that is so much a part of many in his industry. This characteristic is the single most important thing that bestows the title of "true artist" upon John Waite.
