Head First

Being that this is my absolute favorite Babys album, it was a chore to
hold my tongue! But I did it! (the stitches will be coming out soon...)
The song HEAD FIRST brought giggles to the room from the teenage girls
when it first started, "Wow, this is SO 70's mom!!!"
But...by the time it was half way done they had pulled William, Heather,
Jon and I off the couch and the living room had turned into a dance
club!
Ahh, the fickleness of a teenage girl...
Needless to say, HEAD FIRST was a BIG hit!
When we sat down it was WHITE LIGHTING time... "Altered states of
conciseness through the help of chemicals." was the thought from Jon,
but William in his wisdom came up with a different meaning, "he's found
out that drugs can't give him the same feeling that being in love with
the girl can." As I picked my jaw off the ground I handed William his
own pint of NY Super Chunk.
The song YOU (GOT IT) is my all time favorite Babys song so I stayed
out of this debate. "It says SO much for being as simple as it is," was
Heathers comment. "Guys can be sensitive? Amazing!"
William liked the song RUN TO MEXICO and my mom and Heather liked
CALIFORNIA, once again for the romantic aspects of it.
I remember wishing that I would be the "wife" that John took...then
again I was also 14 years old...
EVERY TIME I THINK OF YOU was by far Andi and Jonna's favorite on this
album, "it's just so sweet."
