Fan Experiences - Harlene

Hello John Waite FANS-

What I see every day when I walk in the bedroom hangin up on the wall...is an ALBUM GLASS MIRROR OF BROKEN HEART that was sent to me back in 1977 by the promotional guys working for Chrysalis Records when John was on that label...I still think of Chrysalis when I think of John..thats how it all started!! Some things just stick in your head..and they don't come out! LOL!

I got a lot of pics from back then that I had to push my way to the stage at like every concert THE BABYS did and thank god I was never thrown out!! hehe I put the pics in a photo album that I labeled: THE BABYS..and every now and then I just look at it and take myself back to the concerts!! I did have like 30 reproduction foil myrals sent to me by Chrysalis too back then..that used to hang on my bedroom walls way up top... that looked like a border side by side.... don't remember what happened to them... I moved out at age 19... and then again at age 28... so who knows. I do know that Debby has one (DJR 805) and it was given to her by a friend of mine who I gave some to back then -- I only got pics of my room as a memory... which my walls were covered up with THE BABYS advertisements and photos!!

I have a cardboard advertisment of Broken Heart and the first LP, "The Babys" which is about the size of 2 cd covers put together... I still got a t-shirt from UNION JACKS cover of the LP... and I still got the t-shirt from Bad English tour from The Capitol Theater in Passaic, NJ back when Bad English first toured with the names of all members printed on the back..and still looks as if I just bought it yesterday!!

I did have a few buttons of THE BABYS, but don't remember where they went -- Oh... and I got promotional LP's of "Head First", "Union Jacks", and "Mask of Smiles". The "Mast of Smiles" LP has the poster in it... still folded... untouched... one day I am gonna frame it and hang it up!!

Guess that's about it for now... nothin like spillin the beans -- LOL

What's in your heart will never: CHANGE!

Harlene
